1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Up for Auction

1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Up for Auction

A very rare Ferrari has appeared onto the auction block after several ownerships and a beautiful 3,800-hour restoration job. The 250 Europa Coupe is a sort of predecessor to the 225 and was first built in 1952 as an endurance racing car. When 1953 came around the Italian luxury automaker tweaked the model, taking cues from the Grand Tourer. Out of the 22 ever made, four of those models were built by the internationally renowned Vignale brothers, making this for-sale 250 Europa particularly special.

This Ferrari will be auctioned off at Sotheby's in new York later this year. Check out the listing for further details here.
