While eating delicious food at the River Space Dinner Party and Talk, we also got to talk with Hans Kemp, the editor of Sacred Skin – Thailand's Spirit Tatoos. The book, published by Visionary World, takes you into the history and contemporary practice of Sak Yant, an ancient form of sacred tatooing. This journey is captured by the photographs of Thai photographer Aroon Thaewchatturat and the words of German writer Tom Vater. What is also interesting is the design of the book, which includes the personal thoughts of the people portrayed.

Here are some images from the book, available in Europe soon.
