This is a free contest, which means that you can enter for free and without the need of paying an entry fee.

Ultra Music Festival is rapidly approaching it's 13th annual edition, taking place 25-27 March 2011 at Bicentennial Park in Miami, Florida. Featuring more than 400 of the hottest Djs, bands, and producers spread out over 3 days and 24 stages of music.

Ultra Music Festival would like to thank all the fans, supporters and music enthusiasts by launching the first ever UMF Remix Contest! The festival is giving the opportunity to remix one of this year's electronic artists - Afrobeta. This is an amazing opportunity for all aspiring producers and deejays.

What's the prize? A slot to DJ at the event to the first place winner!

Objective

Create a remix for Afrobeta - the Miami avant-dance duo, consisting of Cuci Amador and Smurphio.

This contest is hosted by FOEM - a full-service communication agency for the music business, so make sure you check out the FOEM forum, for further details and the sample pack. Free registration is required.

Prizes

  • At least one release on Do IT (Do IT Music Group). The winner also receives a yearly Pro Account on Soundcloud.
  • Runners up will receive yearly Lite Accounts on Soundcloud.
  • Winner gets a $200 Beatport voucher.
  • One runner-up gets a $100 Beatport voucher.
  • The winner will also receive a spot to perform the song at the festival. If the winner is a DJ, she / he will receive a time slot to play.

Rules

  • Two remixes per artist is maximum.
  • Define and create your very own style.
  • Take your time to remix: Early entries will not be given priority.
  • Master your track but keep a raw version so Do IT can do its own master.
